[0:00] This is my first time preaching And I'm a little nervous Before we begin let's pray Let's pray There is a日本 movie The name is Outtman There's a cartoon called Ottoman and everyone should know about it.
[0:44] This is a Japanese TV show with a long history and it's normally watched by younger kids. And most of the episodes are following the same formula.
[0:59] A big monster appears in the world and humankind is faced with peril.
[1:11] This Ottoman is a foreign world and humans are called the light of the war. This is the light, and peace.
[1:22] This Ottoman is from another planet. And humans call them warriors of light. And what they represented was peace and brightness.
[1:34] They are born into people they pick in the world.
[1:48] And when the world is faced with danger, they will appear and fight the monsters and save mankind. This is a television show. Now we're talking about the species of Ottoman or the enemies of their combat.
[2:01] Or the species of monsters. So that's about Ottoman. And we're not here today to talk about the combat capabilities of Ottoman or the different kinds of monsters in that show.
[2:14] Today we're talking about the purpose of the Lord's Jedi. We are going to talk about the reason we came into this world. From a certain extent to say, the Ottoman work of Ottoman and the Lord's Jedi are still similar to the same.
[2:31] On some levels, the Ottoman work of Ottoman in the TV show is similar to that of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ottoman came into our world to save mankind in times of danger.
[2:50] And our Lord Jesus Christ also came into this world to save us.
[3:01] But what Jesus did in his short 33 years in this world far surpasses that of Ottoman.
[3:15] Today we're going to look at Mark chapter 2 verses 13 to 17. This is the story of Jesus calling Levi. And we'll see why he came into our world and became man.
[3:28] The first reason was to preach God's gospel.
[3:43] Let's look at verse 13. Let's look at verse 13. Let's look at verse 13. In this verse, we see that Jesus is at the beach at Galilee and saw the group of people following him.
[4:16] So he started preaching. In the end of the chapter, we can see that this is simply one part of the gospel preaching Jesus did at the coast of Galilee.
[4:36] Galilee was the first stop for Jesus' preaching. Because Jesus was in the valley of Galilee, the valley of Galilee, the valley of Galilee, and then Jesus was also sent to the gospel to Galilee.
[4:49] In the end of the chapter, we can see that Jesus was in the valley of Galilee and saw the gospel in Galilee.
[5:02] Let's look at verse 14. Let's look at verse 14. We can see that Jesus was in the valley of Galilee. The gospel preaching of Galilee was only three years. The last two years, the gospel preaching of Galilee was mainly in Galilee. And when we look at the four gospel books, we can see that Jesus preached for a total of three years.
[5:16] In the first two years, he was mostly around the Galilee area. In the last two years, Jesus went to Phoenicia and Decapolis and other cities, who mainly spoke Greek.
[5:42] And finally, he arrived in Jerusalem. Let's look at what Jesus preached in the world. Mark 1, verse 15 says, The day is filled, the God's kingdom is filled. You will be back to the Holy Spirit.
[5:53] Let's look at the contents of Jesus' preaching. In Mark 1, verse 15, he said, The time has come. He said, The kingdom of God has come now. Repent and believe the good news.
[6:05] In the Mark 5, verse 5, verse 7, it also says, Jesus is the holy of Galilee and the holy of Galilee. And in Mark 5, verse 5, verse 7, It recorded Jesus' sermon on the mount, where he revealed his eight blessings.
[6:23] So, through the Bible, we can see that the goal of the Lord's降師 is to preach the Holy of Galilee. So, from these passages, we can see that Jesus came into this world to preach the gospel. How many people know that the glory of God is through the Holy of Galilee, and through the Holy of Galilee, and through the Holy of Galilee, to be able to preach the Holy of Galilee and through the Holy of Galilee.
[6:40] He came into this world to let people know of God's glory, and through the Lord Jesus, He repaired our relationship with God. Let's continue to look at the second goal.
[6:52] The second goal of the Lord Jesus'降師 is to call the Holy of Galilee. And the second reason He came into this world was to call upon His... That today's this chapter is the main thing that Jesus is to call upon His... That today's chapter is the main thing that Jesus is to call upon the Holy of Galilee.
[7:04] That today's chapter is mainly talking about Jesus calling upon the disciple Levi.
[7:17] Let's look at verse 14. Let's look at verse 14. In verse 14 it says, As he walked along, he saw Levi's son of Elphias sitting at the tax collector's booth.
[7:37] Follow me, Jesus called him and followed him. Let's look at verse 14.
[7:49] He said, You come and follow me. Levi immediately came and followed him. Now let's look at the passage. Levi did not have any suspicions, and when Jesus told him to follow him, Levi immediately followed him.
[8:04] This thing is the same. In the same thing, in the 5th verse of the Luke of Galilee, the 28th verse of the Luke of Galilee, He said, He came and followed him.
[8:15] And in Luke chapter 5 verse 28, It recorded the same events. And it said, Levi left everything and followed Jesus. Let's look at what Levi's son of Elphias.
[8:26] He was a tax collector. So let's have a look at Levi's role. He was a tax collector. The Jewish area around that time was controlled by the Romans.
[8:44] And the tax collectors at that time was collecting for them, for the Romans. Can you see the Chinese war in the war? We can compare them to the traitors who helped the Japanese in the past war in China.
[9:04] So, The Jews were called the Jews. Although they were very wealthy, but they were not being the Jews. So we can compare these people, these tax collectors to being Jewish traitors.
[9:21] And although they were very wealthy, they were despised by the Jewish people. And they wanted to kind of like tear them to shreds.
[9:32] But the Messiah, He called such a person to be his disciples. But Jesus called upon this kind of person to be his disciples. Let's have a look at the other disciples' roles.
[9:47] The poor people, the poor people, are very low-willed. They were fishermen and poor people, or people of low status.
[9:58] Why is that? In Samuel 16 verse 7, In Samuel 16 verse 7, The Lord does not look at the things people look at.
[10:18] People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the hearts. That, The Bible is not looking at the worldview of the God. The reader is not looking at the outward appearance, or their status. So what does He look at then?
[10:41] The Lord Jesus will look at the people's hearts, The Lord Jesus will look at that person's heart And see if it is completely offered to him Let's have a look at the disciples' reactions In this passage, Levi left everything and followed Jesus And he followed him to his death, resurrection and ascension And after Jesus' ascension, he will continue to spread the gospel So why did Jesus choose these people of low status?
[11:35] Let's see in the chapter 4, verse 7 2 Corinthians 4, verse 7 says But we have this treasure in jars of clay To show this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us That the treasure in the book is God's gift And the water is the treasure in the book The treasure in the book is God's grace And the jars of clay are us Through calling these disciples of low status It further displayed the great power of God's grace Because the treasure was placed in jars of clay
[12:36] And not some big wooden box It further displayed how valuable and universal this saving grace was That the Lord through calling his disciples and the changes in their lives Jesus was able to affect and make even more people repent and believe in the gospel That's the second reason to why Jesus came to this world Let's have a look at the third reason Let's have a look at the third reason It's call upon the sinful Creo who called our Sunday Let's have a look at the third reason Then we look at the next chapter 4 verses 15 and 16 在另一位家里吃饭,有很多税吏和罪人也来与他们和门徒一起吃饭。 因为这样的人很多,并且他们已经跟随了耶稣。 法拉塞派的经学家看见耶稣与罪人和税吏一起吃饭,就对耶稣的门徒说,他跟税吏和罪人一起吃饭吗?
[13:55] 大家可以看到,立位在跟随主以后,就立刻摆下宴席请主吃饭,并且这时候出现了一种人叫法利塞派。 现在我们来看看什么是法利塞人。 法利塞人是犹太人的一个宗派。 但是他们强调的是摩西律法的细节,而不注重其中的道理在哪里。 那他们也就是我们现在常常说的律法主义。 他们呢,是为了遵守律法而去遵守律法。 那法利塞人在这两段经文中,对耶稣提出了质疑,因为耶稣跟罪人一起吃饭。 而在法利塞人的传统上呢,是不能同罪人一起吃饭的,甚至连讲话都不可以讲。 因为法利塞人怕他们被罪人污染而变得不胜洁。 因为法利塞人怕他们被罪人污染而变得不胜洁。 但我们看看主耶稣是怎么回应的。 看第17节。 耶稣听见了就对他们说,健康的人不需要医生,有病的人才需要。 我们来这里不是要遭义人,而是要遭罪人。 主耶稣在这里用了一个比喻,生了病的人才需要遭医生。 耶稣用了个正式的对象,只要病的人需要医生。 主耶稣对这里的意思是什么呢?
[16:25] 主耶稣教的说明了。 主耶稣在这里表达的是,主有医治的能力,而这里说的医治不是单单的说身体上的医治。 Firstly Jesus has healing powers And this kind of healing mention is not simply healing of the body In the Bible there are many recounts of Jesus healing people But the healing talked about in this verse is Jesus healing the spirits of people It said healthy people do not need doctors only the sick do In other words if we cannot see that we are sick Everyone will think that we are healthy and we won't need to go see a doctor
[17:28] This is the idea of the people of the society Many people of the society just use the law to determine whether we are sinful For example if they see if we have killed people or if we have robbed people But we know that in God's eyes every one of us are sinful And we all have sinful nature And the thing that God is talking about is very different to worldly sins So we all have to through Jesus and Jesus to救 To get the healing of God Every single person needs to be saved through Jesus' salvation To obtain eternal life And the Lord Jesus in the world is to call out to us sinful people
[18:36] And through Him repair our relationship with God That before we say about Jesus' salvation Jesus came into the world was to spread the gospel And to call upon His disciples And in this 17th verse Jesus said this He was very clear to be answered And the people of the people of the Messiah And the people of the Messiah And Jesus in verse 17 Clearly responds to the attacks of the Pharisees Jesus not only needed to preach God's word And call upon His disciples But more importantly to call upon the sinful And through the power of His crucifixion and His blood He saved the sinful people like us Who could not save ourselves Sin and holiness are definite standards
[19:42] In this world apart from Jesus There was not another person who was completely holy And the Pharisees in the 15th verse 16 In the 15th verse 16 In the 15th verse 16 In the 15th verse 16 In the 15th verse 16 And the Pharisees revealed the big difference in standards of their thoughts and response to sin in contrast to Jesus' They were not able to realize that they were guilty They were not able to see their sins They were not able to see their sins And they think they were much more holy than the tax collectors But Jesus did not view it like this And the public, the Pharisees of themselves They wereمكن to see�로 But in the 15th verse 16 On the surface, the Pharisees in between the 2000 złotions of following the law but inside they are much better than sinful people我们看看一个例证马太福音23章27到28节这样写的耶稣曾经是这样说他们的你们这假冒伪善的文士和法利塞人有祸因为你们好像粉饰的坟墓外面好看里面却装满了死人的骨头和一切的污碎你们也是如此在人面前外面显出公义来里面却装满了假善和不法的事
